We had the most amazing Valentines Day weekend! We went to the ranch for the weekend, which is always fun, and then Walt surprised me by booking a cabin for Monday and Tuesday night. Of course, I was picturing your typical, itty 
bitty, slightly dirty, cabin on the side of the highway somewhere, with giant flashing lights on a sign outside with a huge arrow pointing to their slightly dingy place. I was so wrong! My sweet husband surprised me yet again with his romantic, adorable, sensitive side. The cabin was the most amazing place...a Christian couple owns and built them. Their website is www.RiversEdgeCottages.com and we stayed at the Mountain Escape cabin. I can't tell you what a blessing this was for us to get to spend time together in a place like this. We've already decided we need to do this at least once if not twice a year! I highly recommend it.

The dog(s) came with the cabin...we woke up the first morning and opened the front door and they came right in! The guest book / journal had numerous entries including tidbits about these guys, so I guess they're regulars!
