The great thing about living in a 1,000 sq ft house, is that when you finally decide to upgrade to something a little bit larger, it's not all that hard to do. Moving into an 1800 sq ft ranch house is going to almost DOUBLE our living space. Plenty of room for strollers and play gyms galore. Seriously though, we are so blessed to have found this house! It's in my sister's neighborhood, which I love, it has a huge backyard on a corner lot (so lots of room for Walt to build his shop, and still have room for Hannah to play.) There are huge trees all over the place, amazing after the devastation of the ice storm in Midwest City last winter. And it's just perfect for us, after a few cosmetic changes, that is...

Here are the "before" pics of our "new" 1950's house. Hopefully we'll have some "after" pics soon. For some reason I didn't take a photo of the front of the house...this is the view from the backyard.

The kitchen...ahhh, to have a dishwasher. I realized the other day that I haven't had a dishwasher for approximately 9 years. 9 YEARS!! That's the trade off for life in adorable historic Mesta Park, and not so adorable, historic, Midwest City. Ahhh, to move into the 1950's!! :)

And the formal living room (what do you think of those curtains? :)

1950's!! I love it :) I wish we had an old house vs. our 80's contemporary. Is your toilet pink? Wow, Hannah has grown so much! Love those chubby legs.
