miracle heartbeat!

This morning I woke up to some serious, serious cramps. My entire abdomen and lower back were throbbing, and the pain went all the way down my legs. I was so scared for you! Walt came and encouraged me through it, and eventually it subsided, but throughout the day I continued to have stabbing pains in my right side. I called the doctor (the second time today) and they said they could work me in for an ultrasound if it would make me feel better (yes!) I went in by myself, and Walt was able to meet me there. He came in the room and we prayed together for you. I was so scared.

Finally, they put us in the ultrasound room and Dr. Reshef came in. I told him I had to pee (again!) and he quickly told me why, and why I've been having so much pain. My right ovary is the size of a fist (it should only be a couple of inches wide) and I have two large cysts, and my uterus, pressing on my bladder! I didn't care, I just wanted to see you! He moved it around a bit, and there you were, your heart pumping furiously (128 beats a minute!!) and your little body, just 5/8" long! I started crying, and Walt put his hand on my shoulder. He printed out a little picture of you, and the nurse admitted they don't have a clue when you were concieved. I told her that only God knows!

Thank you God, for this little one! Thank you for hearing our prayers and tears and giving us this life, each day is another miracle. Thank you Lord. There aren't enough words to thank you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
