Well, we went home for the wheat harvest, and spent our time waiting on the rain to stop. Mom said the last time they had a wheat harvest like this was 40 years ago, the summer they got married. Everyone just had to plow the wheat under, it was too wet to harvest it. Same thing this year. Luckily, some of the farmers have insurance, but it still won't cover everything they've lost. I feel so bad for my parents, it's awful just watching the wheat rot out in the fields. At least they had my nephews there visiting and had plenty of time to play with them!
We're all back home now. I took Tammy and Hudson to the airport today, and I already miss them! At least we have Ethan only two miles away! I'll have to post pics of them in their overalls in the wheat soon. Sooo cute!
And today we are officially 13 weeks along! I am so excited! Depending on who you ask, I'm now in my second trimester. Very exciting stuff. I've thrown up only three times (1 was all water, 1 cereal and strawberries, and 1 dry heaves.) Not bad at all!! And so far my only really weird craving has been waking up at 4:30 in the morning and just wanting a bunch of Mac & Cheese. I waited until 6:30 to get up and make myself some. Delicious!

Yes I believe this rain is called too much of a good thing. I enjoy it but I am not a farmer or a kid who gets their summer off only to be stuck indoors. I can't wait to see your cute nephew pics!
Yay for throwing up! Are you starting to get a belly? I am looking very pregnant these days, hopefully I will slow down! Take advantage of this time to eat as much Mac & Cheese you want!...and ice cream...and whatever else.
Jolyn is coming to visit tomorrow. I'm jealous of your craft night, sounds fun.
Oh the joys of being pregnant! I have to say that since Ethne was born I love being able to sleep on my back or lay on my tummy so I can get a much deserved back massage! It's funny the things you crave though, isn't it!? Towards the end & since she's been born I've wanted banana milkshakes. Weird, but yummy! I'm so happy for you dear friend & enjoy reading your updates! Love you! ~Wendy.
