False alarm #1

Last night we made an emergency 2:00am trip to the OB labor and delivery triage. I'd been having pretty bad contractions all evening and the pain woke me up around 2, so I called and they said to come in. Of course, when I got there and they hooked me up to the monitors they pretty much stopped. They said the monitor picked up two in an hour. I think I felt one of them, but they were nothing compared to the ones I had been having at home. The fun thing was that we got to hear baby girl's hiccups for about fifteen minutes on her heart monitor.

The not fun thing was being there for two hours in the middle of the night. We're so thankful that they stopped on their own and I got to come home, with baby still where she belongs!

They're having me come in for more tests tomorrow to see what's going on. Apparently they have one that will let you know if you're going to deliver within the next two weeks. Good to know so they can give the baby steroids to develop her lungs if that's the case.

Please be praying that she'll hang around in there until at least week 37! We're at 31 1/2 weeks right now. Also, pray for Walt...he's pretty stressed with work right now, not to mention all the things we're rushing to get done before delivery day!
