Little Lamb for a Little Hat

OK, here's the deal. If you'd like to have one of these adorable little baby hats for your very own, just let me know and I will knit one up for you! All you have to do is give a little lamb to World Vision (a $105 tax deductible donation)and email me a copy of your receipt at saundratraywick@yahoo.com (put "Little Lamb for Little Hat" in the subject so I don't think you're spam) and give me your mailing address and I'll send one your way (you pay shipping, sorry.) Just give me a few weeks to knit it up for you. Of course, if you'd like to give something bigger, like a pair of oxen, or sponsor a child for a year min ($30 a month), I'll still make a hat for you.

Or, if you'd prefer to make this hat for yourself, I'll email you the pattern and materials list in exchange for a couple of chickens ($25 donation.)

If anyone you know knits and wants to help me make these hats, let me know! If this deal takes off, I may need some help getting them done!

Go to the web address below and select your donation.

Sheep are known to "go astray," but they are always worth finding! For cold, impoverished families, a sheep’s wool can yield soft, warm, long-lasting clothes. Sheep often give birth to twins or triplets, which can be sold at the market. And sheep’s milk is up to twice as rich as cow’s milk in nutrients like protein, calcium, and B vitamins that growing kids need.

Hello sweet friend, I just had a minute to catch up on your blog, well most of it anyway! Congratulations on your new house!!! I can't wait to see what you do with it! And great idea about the hats! We actually received the catalog with all the animals you can donate in the mail awhile ago & are looking to do that for Christmas. What a GREAT foundation! Anyway, I have to go get to work but I love & miss you & am so happy to see you are all doing so well! ~Wendy.
