Ammendment to Birth Story

I had to go feed Hannah, and forgot to add the most important part! I mentioned that I didn't feel God's presence when I was in the midst of hard core labor. It was only after she was born and that I realized that God took us through what we needed to gothrough in order to have the C-section and find all those fibroids AND have a healthy baby. If we hadn't, I never would have known those fibroids were there without all kinds of further infertility stuff / surgeries etc. And, through it all, Hannah's heart rate (and mine) stayed strong and steady, so they never had to contemplate doing an emergency c-section (if they had, Walt wouldn't have gotten to be there.) AND, when they did the c-section, they realized that my bone structure would never allow her head to go through the birth canal, AND the cord was wrapped around her neck.

All that to say, my "Traywick Family Birth Plan" went out the window fast, but God's Traywick Family Birth Plan prevailed, and it was really, really sweet.

PS. Email me if you want to see some really cool pics of them taking her out of my belly. I don't want to gross anyone out, but I think it's pretty amazing.

Saundra that is so stinkin amazing. I needed that this morning. I love how God plans every detail of our birth and although He brings grief sometimes He always shows compassion.

I heart Hannah!
