We (Jenny, Mike, Ethan, Layla, Hannah, Walt and I) all went to the Orr Family Farm on Saturday http://www.orrfamilyfarm.com/ . It was a blast. Hay rack rides, pumpkins for everyone, train rides around the farm, an old fashioned carousel that Hannah loved, and of course farm animals to pet. I let Hannah pet the rabbit, the goat, the Llama, and the sheep, but drew the line at the fat pot bellied pig. The really funny thing was the guy that worked there who insisted all the children wash their hands BEFORE they pet the animals. I guess kids are generally dirtier and germier than the animals. He let Hannah pet without washing her hands. She's just an all around clean girl. Of course, I washed her thoroughly afterward.
Ethan, Walt and Mike road the pedal go carts around the track a few times while Hannah and Layla napped. Ethan also went "mining" for gold (pretty rocks) in their water mine. Clever. I think we'll definitley have to go back around Christmas when they do it all up in lights.
